Easter Egg Day
My name is Sarah and I am a children’s author. Today we are going to be celebrating Easter with lots of exciting activities. First we are going to make an Easter basket. Next we will be going on an Easter Egg hunt in our garden or local area. Then we will be making some Playdough eggs and painting some pebble eggs too.
Make an Easter Basket
Join Sarah as she makes a lovely Easter basket. You can keep it to collect your eggs in or give it to someone special.
You will need: card, scissors, a pencil, a ruler, a stapler, glue, tissue paper and some chocolate eggs. Follow Sarah as she talks you through how to make an Easter basket. You can make it as a gift for someone special or use it to collect eggs on your Easter egg hunt. This activity supports children’s fine motor skills and creativity.

Follow Sarah and Eva around the garden as they hunt for eggs using the Easter egg clues.

Playdough Activities
Join Sarah to have some Easter playdough fun.
Choose your favourite coloured playdough and follow Sarah as she shows you how to make some playdough Easter eggs. You can make an Easter egg face, make patterns or shapes on your egg together with your child. This activity supports children’s fine motor skills and creativity.
Easter Pebble Eggs
Let’s get creative and make our own pebble eggs.
Collect some pebbles and stones from your garden. Give them a good wash and dry them before you start decorating. You can use acrylic paint pens to decorate your pebbles and stones. Or you can use normal paint or felt tip pens. You could cut our circles and decorate those too, if you don’t have any stones. Think about Spring time and use this as inspiration for your designs. You can put the pebbles in the garden when they are finished or give them as a gift to someone special at Easter time.
