Good Care Day
Join Lois and Freya for a fun filled day of activities all about good care. You’ll learn what good care is and how important it is to take care of yourself and those around you. First we will be learning about a morning routine to start your day, taking very good care of yourself. Next, we are going to learn some things we can do to take care of the special people in our lives to make them smile. Then we will be getting active and learning how to take care of our physical health. After that we will be learning something new and painting using our hand prints! We hope you enjoy your day with us!
Morning Routine
Join Lois for some activities all about your morning routine and the importance of mindfulness.
Grown Ups: Spend time with your child talking about your morning routine and how important it is that we take very good care of ourselves. This supports your child’s independence and learning about personal health and care.
Caring For Others
Join Freya as she tells us how important it is to care for those around you and gives us some ideas on how to make friends and family smile.

Getting Active
Join Lois for a mini PE lesson as she goes through how valuable being active is for both your body and mind.
Grown Ups: Join in the exercises with Lois and talk to your child about how you can make exercise a daily routine to take care of your body and mind. Plan activities that you can do together daily to get out and exercise.
Learn Something New
Join Freya for the last activity of the day where she will be learning something new with you and doing some painting. Setting a challenge to learn something new each day ensures every day is productive and helps you stay active!
Grown Ups: Talk to your child about learning something new. What new things would you like to learn together? Have fun exploring and experimenting with new ideas. This supports your child to develop language and communication and finding out about themselves.
Extension
Grab yourself a pen and some paper before you settle down for bed and think about your day. Try to draw 3 things about your day that you have enjoyed, and maybe 3 things you’d like to do tomorrow. Try to draw a face that shows how you have felt today and how the things you have achieved made you feel. Reflecting on your day can be a really good way to finish your day and make sure you always see the positives in each day.
